Terms & Conditions

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to every booking, registration and purchase made through this website with Makspeed Academy ("we", "us"). By booking or paying you confirm that you have read and accepted them, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

2. What we offer

We run driver-training and drifting courses and special events at Kuwait Motor Town. Each course or event page shows its description, date, location, number of seats and price. All prices are in Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD).

3. Who can book

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age stated on the course page).
  • For driving courses you must hold a valid driving licence where the course page says so.
  • You must give correct details when you book. We may cancel a booking that was made with false information.

4. Booking and payment

  • A seat is only confirmed once payment has been completed. While you pay, your seat is held for a short time (about 10 minutes); if payment is not completed it is released.
  • Online payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Tap Payments (KNET, Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay where available). We never see or store your card number.
  • After payment you receive a confirmation by email with your booking reference.
  • Some courses are by inquiry only. The price and conditions are agreed with you before any payment.

5. Cancellation, changes and refunds

You can cancel online from your booking page. The charges and refund that apply depend on how long before the class you cancel, as shown to you before you book and described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Safety and conduct

  • Motorsport involves risk. You must follow the instructions of our instructors and marshals at all times and use the safety equipment provided.
  • You must not attend under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication that affects driving.
  • We may stop a participant who is unsafe or disruptive. In that case no refund is due.

7. Waiver and liability

Before a course you sign a liability waiver. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss or damage caused by your own failure to follow instructions or by events outside our control.

8. Changes by us

We may change a date, time, instructor or venue, or cancel a class or event, for safety, weather, low enrolment or other reasons beyond our control. If we do, we will tell you and offer a new date or a full refund.

9. Photos and video

Classes and events may be photographed or filmed for our website and social media. Tell an instructor on the day if you do not want to appear.

10. Your account

If you create an account, keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, and the Kuwaiti courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
